Black Sheep Client Work
During my time at Black Sheep, I had the pleasure of working with many different kinds of clients, doing everything from strategy work to copywriting to good old-fashioned brainstorming. Here's a selection of that work.
ILEAD | Strategy + Creative Campaign
You know when you meet someone and sparks fly? That’s how I felt about ILEAD. A youth leadership program based on interfaith relations? Heck yes! I’m on board.
For this Black Sheep client, I helped ideate, concept and write for one of two campaigns we presented to the client. The campaign, The “I in We” was a nod to both their name, but also to the fact that they celebrate individuality as part of a bigger, more diverse whole. The best part (other than writing it)? They picked it!
St. Stephen’s Episcopal School | Strategy + Creative Campaign
School has the reputation for being boring. Dull. Cookie cutter. Not St. Stephen’s—they’re truly one of a kind. “Wildly Different,” actually. The “School for the Wildly _____.” campaign was concepted by our team and written by me, then pitched alongside another option. The idea was that students at St. Stephen’s defy a single definition, so I wrote a headline and stories that were infinitely flexible.
Vecino Health Centers | Campaign
Is there anything more important that being healthy? In each and every community there are people missing work today because they don't have access to healthcare. Instead of a 15-minute wait at their local doctor's office, they're in an ER waiting room for hours on end. Vecino Health Centers are aiming to change that. Bringing high quality, affordable healthcare to Houston's medically underserved, Vecino is making the community a healthier place. For this client, I wanted to add some warm, friendly sophistication for their brand to give patients a boutique healthcare experience.
Greenspace | Web Copy
Cannabusinesses are becoming big business as more and more states legalize marijuana. Greenspace, the national cannabis friendly landlord, needed a brand and a website to launch their unique service. I was tapped to write the copy for their site, which led to some awkward conversations when people walked by my desk. “It’s research,” I’d yell at them as I scrolled past pages and pages of stoner brands, “This is for a client!” They didn’t believe me, but whatever. The proof is in the budding business’s website.
All work created by and for the Black Sheep Agency (with love, obviously).
